The birds were not working well at all but on 05-21-03 Max made my second Longbeard happen and yes being a die hard black powder shooter I bagged my bird with my flintlock shotgun which I built. | Comments: | Max and I had a great time May 1 st. working this three year old bird,we heard the bird gobbling a long ways off and went to him,saw him in the corner of a field, then started working him,it took 1 1/2 hrs to get him in close enough to shoot.The bird had a 10 in. beard and 1 in. plus spurs, Max did a great job.
